Bo-Peep Nursery
We are a small, family run group of Nurseries in North West London, teaching and caring for children from 16 months to 5 years old.
All of our children are treated as individuals where each and every one of their needs are identified and met. We offer a child-centred approach where children are encouraged to develop their creativity, individuality and self- confidence in secure surroundings, led by fully trained staff who have a real rapport with the children in their care.
Children need to feel a sense of security and belonging when they are away from their parents, and this is key to the philosophy of our nurseries. We strive to ensure that all children feel happy, relaxed and safe, and encourage them to feel confident in co-operating and developing good relationships with the adults caring for them and with the other children in the group.
We provide a wide range of appropriate learning materials and stimulating, high quality toys and activities, both indoors and outdoors. Children are provided with refreshments, fresh air, exercise, rest and play, all contributing positively to their physical, emotional and educational development. Surrounded by their peers, they can develop at their own pace, play a full part in activities devised for their age, and enthusiastically learn new skills.
As we are a teaching nursery we naturally feed into the top primary schools in North London and our children leave us to go to North London Collegiate, Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls, Holland House and Radlett Prep amongst others.
We do not "teach to test" but instead adopt a fun approach to learning whereby the children leave us as enthusiastic and confident learners who are willing to try anything new. Every child has the opportunity to develop his / her own individual literacy and numerical skills. Teaching sessions throughout the week with individual keyworkers ensure that children progress at their own pace using various aids such as flash cards, charts and books as well as the general equipment and games that are available in the nursery. Vocabulary enrichment is one of the aims of our group. This is done through story telling, books, pictures and other resources enabling them to learn to express and expand their ideas.

Little Bo-Peep, located in St. Lawrences Church Hall, Edgware was founded in 2002.
